2016 Presidential Election
Our class learned all about four different book characters that were running for President. We had a class election where voters filled out registration, cast their ballot, and engaged in live results.

New Albany celebrated a Day of Pink to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The girls also had a Girls Only soccer day!

STEM CHALLENGE: Pumpkin Catapult
What an awesome challenge! Without any examples, students had amazing ideas to get started with. They planned at their tables, practiced, then demonstrate for the class their catapult.

Fire House
The New Albany Fire Fighters brought the Fire House to help teach Fire Safety to our school.

Our first STEM Challenge was to build a Pom Pom Sling Shot that would shoot the farthest.
