Dear Future First Graders,
I cannot wait to learn all about you and hear what you have been up to this summer! Here is what I have spent my time away from school doing:
My husband (who is also a teacher) and I flew to Europe for our summer vacation. We first went to Brussels, Belgium. The buildings were so beautiful and the chocolate was delicious!
We then took a train to the city of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. There were canal boats that we got to ride in to explore the city!
The last country that we spent time in was Ireland. It is a very special place to us. My husband's family is from there and it is where Mr. McAndrew proposed three years ago!
Of course, I spent a lot of time playing with my sweet, little kitty "LC." You will hear lots about her and maybe I can even share a video of her playing fetch!
I hope you had lots of fun this summer! It will be an exciting year working together and I am already looking forward to it!
